Copyright and Licensing

 

When the authors submit an article to the journal requesting publication, they are deemed to have accepted the journal's copyright and licensing policy.

 

Authors accept exclusive license agreement, where authors have copyright but license exclusive rights in their article to the publisher.

 

Authors retain patent, trademark and other intellectual property rights (including research data).

 

All responsibilities of the published works belong to the author(s).

 

Authors have the right to share or reuse their article in the same ways permitted to third parties under their choice of relevant end user license (together with Personal Use rights), so long as that they use the version on the Theosophia website.

 

Authors have a choice of licences, determining how articles can be re-used. These include the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license and the Creative Commons Non-Derivative Non-Commercial (CC BY-NC-ND) license. Both licenses enable the author to copy and redistribute the article in any format. Articles may also be downloaded for text and data mining purposes, and extracts of articles may be used in other works.

 

Republishing of part or all of the articles is subject to the permission of the editor of the journal.

 

Articles published in Theosophia journal cannot be used for commercial purposes. Databases and university libraries can add articles published in Theosophia journal to their catalogs without permission.
